Colion Noir — youthful host of the new show "Noir" on the National Rifle Association's new online video channel "NRA Freestyle" — says young people are getting the message that there is nothing wrong with firearms.

"I convince them by existing and showing them that there are other people just like me who do exist," Noir said Tuesday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

You can't deny something that is standing right in front of your face," Noir said Tuesday.

Noir, who is African-American, says he gets mixed reactions from black viewers.

"It's pretty balanced as far as the negative and the positive are concerned. There are those people who are against the idea . . . Russell Simmons, who are totally against it," he said.

"Then there are people on the other side who are all for it. They are African Americans who are more or less vocal about their gun ownership.”
