Conservatives must work harder to guarantee a sweeping Republican victory in the midterm elections, says David Horowitz, founder and president of the David Horowitz Freedom Center and editor of FrontPage Magazine.
"This country is going to the dogs. I mean, this country is in deep, deep trouble, and we've got another two years of [President Barack] Obama. So, I'm hoping it won't be close in the November elections," Horowitz said Monday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on
Newsmax TV.

"The American people have to wake up, and conservatives have to wake up and stop sitting on their hands when they don't get everything that they want.
"We lost the last election, the presidential election, because too many conservatives didn't go to the polls because they weren't that happy with Mitt Romney. We're in a battle for the life of this country, and we need more people to understand that."
