Dick Morris: Obama, Biden Made No Case Against Trump at DNC

By    |   Thursday, 28 July 2016 10:23 PM EDT ET

Political strategist Dick Morris told Newsmax TV on Thursday that President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden made no case against Donald Trump in their speeches at the Democratic National Convention — that they "were all fluff."

Morris is author of the new book "Armageddon: How Trump Can Beat Hillary" with Eileen McGann.

"They did not lay out as they did in 2012 the very specific issues of the Democratic Party," Morris told "Newsmax Prime" host J.D. Hayworth in an interview.

"It was instead kind of a stylistic condemnation of Trump as being sort of out of fashion and worried and fantasizing that he would be a dictator.

"I think that there was really a mistake on their part," Morris said. "They just took aim at Trump and kind of the way you would at a cocktail party."

Morris' book "Armageddon: How Trump Can Beat Hillary" is available at bookstores and online at both Barnes & Noble and Amazon.
