The biggest roadblock Hillary Clinton faces in her quest to capture the 2016 Democratic presidential endorsement is not Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, veteran political consultant and Newsmax contributor Dick Morris says.
"The real threat to Hillary is [Vice President Joe] Biden. Sanders is not going to win the Democratic Party nomination," Morris said Wednesday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on
Newsmax TV.
"If Hillary self-destructs, which is what she's doing, and opens the door for Bernie Sanders to take the party over the left cliff, I believe [President Barack] Obama and everybody else will make sure Biden gets that nomination."

Biden has made no move to enter the race, although there are several grassroots groups trying to convince him to run. And Biden's late son Beau is said to have urged his dad to throw his hat in the ring.
Morris — former adviser to President Bill Clinton and author of
"Power Grab: Obama's Dangerous Plan for a One Party Nation," written with Eileen McGann and published by Humanix — was not impressed with Clinton's interview on CNN this week, saying he watched the former secretary of state "destroy herself."
