Donald Trump was endorsed by 88 retired generals and admirals because the Republican nominee is "a real momentum builder," former Navy SEAL Carl Higbie told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.
"We also like to project strength," Higbie told "The Steve Malzberg Show" in an interview. "Look, if you are going to engage in a war, fight to win.

"Donald Trump has said it: 'If I'm going to go to war, I'm going to fight to win. I don't want to go to war, but I will fight to win.'
"That is something that the military is attracted to," Higbie continued. "They're not attracted to someone like Hillary [Clinton], who has projected a weak foreign policy, has left our people in Benghazi to die.
"Everywhere she has touched, she has made the wrong decision that has hurt America.
"We want somebody like Donald Trump, who is going to put America first — because that's what we put our lives on the line for."
