WSJ's Moore: Iraq May Have 'Very Negative Impact' on US Economy

The turmoil in Iraq could have a “very negative impact” on the U.S. economy, pushing energy prices sky high – making the building of the Keystone Pipeline more crucial than ever, Heritage Foundation economist Stephen Moore said Tuesday.

Moore, who also writes for The Wall Street Journal, told “The Steve Malzberg Show” on Newsmax TV that there hasn’t been a more important time to drill and mine for new energy resources, yet President Barack Obama is “running around talking about global warming… Americans want to see solutions right now.”
