The raids on properties linked to President Donald Trump's attorney Michael Cohen indicate that it is time for the special counsel to be shut down, Freedom Watch founder Larry Klayman told Newsmax TV.
"Now is the time for action; something's gotta be done," Klayman said during a panel discussion on "Newsmax Now."
"He didn't go after Stormy Daniels' information when he went into Michael Cohen's with a warrant and with the U.S. attorney."

It has been reported Monday's raids were in regards to, at least in part, the $130,000 payout Cohen made to porn star Stormy Daniels before the election. Daniels has claimed to have had a brief affair with Trump in 2006.
Investigators with ties to the Russia investigation, spearheaded by FBI special counsel Robert Mueller, are looking at whether that payout might have violated laws around bank fraud and wire fraud. Cohen is also being investigated for campaign finance violations, The Washington Post reported.
"The president needs to take action himself," Klayman said. "He can't worry about appearances. He's not going to get convicted in the Senate, [Democrats] don't have two-thirds vote. Republicans are not suicidal. And let's end this agony, as we have a situation in Syria and in Iran and in North Korea that needs to be dealt with, among many others.
"This is an out-of-control law enforcement system which is being run by the establishment — Republican establishment, Democrat establishment — and the president needs to take action himself. Both of these establishments want him gone. Why get down and bow down to them? Do what needs to be done, the American people will understand."
