It's no surprise NBC News declined to run the story accusing Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment because it's a left-leaning organization, Freedom Watch founder Larry Klayman told Newsmax TV.
During an appearance on "Newsmax Now," Klayman told host Bill Tucker it was the same deal with Newsweek not breaking the news that former President Bill Clinton had an affair with Monica Lewinsky.
"It was NBC and Newsweek that suppressed the story about Monica Lewinsky. The reporter, Mike Isikoff, wanted to come forward and it took Matt Drudge to break it," said Klayman, a former federal prosecutor.
"They're highly leftist. They've always been highly leftist and this news story about President Trump allegedly wanted to increase our nuclear arsenal tenfold is not surprising that it's false."

Klayman added, "it's not new for them to suppress stories about individuals like Bill Clinton or Harvey Weinstein or anybody else that's on the left because they're on the left."
Weinstein is accused of sexually harassing and/or assaulting several women over the years. The production company he founded fired him last weekend and he is reportedly preparing to fly to Europe for sex rehab.
Klayman said the reason stories like this one get misreported or squashed is because the country lacks morality.
"There's not truth anymore. There's no ethics. There's no morality," he said. "Frankly, the country has hit rock bottom and they don't care about truth, they just want to destroy the president of the United States."
