China is reveling in North Korea's recent missile test-firing because "every time North Korea does something provocative, we run to Beijing, plead for cooperation — and also we stop talking about the things that care to us," author Gordon Change told Newsmax TV on Wednesday.
"Like, for instance, predatory trade practices, cyber-attacks on American networks, Taiwan," Chang told host Bill Tucker on "Newsmax Now" in an interview.
"You name it. We don't talk about it and Beijing really likes that."

Chang noted that "China has actually weaponized North Korea," including the launcher that was used in Tuesday’s ICBM missile test.
"There's been other evidence of Chinese missiles showing up in North Korea's inventory," he told Tucker.
"So, I think that, essentially, Beijing actually likes what's going on right now."
