Guilfoyle to Newsmax TV: Biden-Obama Fundraiser No Comparison to Trump's Cash on Hand

Kimberly Guilfoyle, the national chair of the Trump Victory Finance Committee, on Wednesday shrugged off the $11 million Joe Biden raised during his first campaign appearance alongside former president Barack Obama.

“We actually have $265 million cash on hand,” Guilfoyle said during an appearance on Newsmax TV’s “Spicer & Co.”

“And we’re just getting started, quite frankly. I have seen literally no dropping off in terms of financial support for the president. Even during this time, during this pandemic, people were participating in our virtual fundraisers, all of our events.

Biden and Obama reunited Tuesday for the first time in the 2020 election cycle for a grassroots fundraiser.

More than 175,000 grassroots donors raised $7.6 million for the event and an additional roughly $3.4 million was raised during a portion of the event reserved for high-dollar donors.

Guilfoyle also took a jab at Biden and Obama for hiding out during the 2020 election.

"I’m glad for Joe Biden, finally Barack Obama also came out of hiding to support him,” she said.

“But it’s no match for the fact that Trump has enthusiasm and tremendous support. … We really feel very good about our momentum.”
