The only way President Barack Obama will do something to help persecuted Christians around the world is when "the people in this country raise their voices," author Johnnie Moore told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.

"He'll be forced to do something," Moore told "Newsmax Prime" host Joe Pags. "It won't be a statement on Christmas. He'll have to do something."

Moore is the author of "Defying ISIS: Preserving Christianity in the Place of Its Birth and in Your Own Backyard."

He slammed Obama's inaction because the president "doesn’t want to fuel a holy war.

"So, that means that a million Christians in Iraq and a million Christians in Syria that have lost their lives or lost their homes," Moore told Pags. "They don't get any special treatment from the United States."
