Radio Host Jackson: Challenge Hillary on Policy, Not Her Health

Tuesday, 13 May 2014 07:23 PM EDT ET

Conservative radio host Kevin Jackson says Karl Rove may be onto something when he talks about Hillary Clinton's potential health issues.

Rove, a top Republican strategist reportedly said Clinton may have brain damage following treatment for a blood clot in 2012, a comment he has denied making.

"Hillary does need a brain check, she's a liberal, all liberals need their brains examined," Jackson, author of the book, "The BIG Black Lie,'' told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"But I mean come on … is [Rove] now suddenly a doctor? If you want to challenge Hillary you don't need to challenge her health, you can challenge her on policy.

"Hillary's policy, I mean quite frankly it's Obama-lite … [There's] Hillary's quite frankly dismal record in terms of being a [New York] senator … As secretary of state, don't dare compare her record to Condoleezza Rice.''

Jackson's comments came during a Newsmax panel discussion which also featured Grace Marie-Turner, president of The Galen Institute, who believes Rove is right to raise the issue of health.

"The fact that she did have this serious health problem is something the American people want to know about," Turner said.

"If she's got significant health problems, that needs to be part of the record.''
