Bill O'Reilly on Tuesday characterized the summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un as "a big P.R. deal" for both sides, telling Newsmax TV "the world is a better place today than it was on Sunday."
"It was a big P.R. deal for both 'the Little Rocket Man' and President Trump," O'Reilly told "The Joe Walsh Show" in an interview. "You at least have a dialogue with a guy who is a killer — and he has 50 nuclear warheads.
"So, now you have a dialogue with him.
"Whether he's going to live up to the denuclearization, nobody knows," O'Reilly added, "but you've gotta take the incremental steps.
"Yes, he's a dictator. Is he worse that the Iranian mullahs? No. They're about the same.
"The Obama administration had no problem dealing with them."

O'Reilly then slammed the left-wing media, telling Walsh "it's rather amusing to hear the left: 'Oh, you can't talk to this guy. You're legitimizing this guy.'
"You didn't say that when the Obama administration tried to get a nuke deal with Iran," he observed. "You were cheering that on.
"Now, you're not.
"This kind of hypocrisy is front and center in all this," he said.
"But, as far as a policy for the United States, it is a good policy to show the world that we'd like to have peace.
"That's a good thing."
