Kimberly Guilfoyle said that she and her fiancé, Donald Trump Jr., were barred from Fox News' media spin room at Wednesday night's GOP presidential primary debates.
Appearing Thursday on Newsmax's "Rob Schmitt Tonight," Guilfoyle said that only candidates participating in the debate could bring their surrogates into the room. Former President Donald Trump did not participate in the debate.
However, Guilfoyle maintained that she and Trump Jr., who both have shows on Rumble, were there as content creators, and not in an official campaign capacity.
She believes that qualifies under Fox's rules, which permit affiliates of candidates not debating to access the media spin room if they are guests of media organizations.
"We hosted live from there. Did all that. We sat with our CEO, with our Rumble team. So, they couldn't stop us from going in and doing that," Guilfoyle explained.
"There's no way that you are encouraging Donald Trump to show up for any more of these sham debates with Fox News behaving that way," she continued. "Are they kidding me?"
Guilfoyle also slammed the network for allowing surrogates of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Trump's chief rival, but not those of the former president, who currently leads him by nearly 37 percentage points.
"They packed the crowd with a whole section for DeSantis, but they couldn't even pop that puppet up. It's not going to work. It was a total disaster," she contended.
Trump Jr. first brought attention to Fox's antics late Wednesday night live at the debate, insisting to reporters that a security team informed him they were told not to allow him into the room.
"Just so we understand what we're dealing with here. It shouldn't surprise any of us, and it's also why Trump was 100% right to not go to this debate," Trump Jr. stated.
The former president opted instead to sit down with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson for an exclusive, one-on-one interview on his social media X account. As of Thursday night, the video has over 240 million views.
