Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz will "deprive" each other of getting the Republican presidential nomination — and the eventual ticket will be Donald Trump as president with Cruz vice president, pollster Matt Towery predicted to
Newsmax TV on Tuesday.
"Cruz is going to run out of oxygen very soon," Towery told host Ed Berliner on the "Newsmax TV 2016 Nevada Caucus Special" in an interview. "He's going to be going to a lot of states, post March 15, that are winner-take-all or don't have very many Evangelicals in them at all.
"That means that Rubio has an opportunity to climb," he added, cautioning, however, that "Cruz has enough money and enough backing to stay in the race."

Ultimately, Towery told Berliner, "it will be a three-person race — and the two, Rubio and Cruz, will deprive one another from getting a nomination.
"It'll be a real nip-tuck battle to see if Trump can get over the required number to get to the convention. If he gets to the convention, I predict a Trump-Cruz pairing.
"All the nastiness put aside — the two will put it aside," Towery said. "They'll throw the establishment over, and you'll find Donald Trump and Ted Cruz running, probably with Trump as president and Cruz as vice president."
