"We realize we'll never be the same community as we were" before the Aug. 9 police shooting of Michael Brown, former Ferguson, Mo., Mayor Brian Fletcher told "MidPoint" host Ed Berliner on
Newsmax TV Thursday. "But we do want to get back to some normalcy — things such as having our Northern Lights parade, our farmer's market.
"Many of our events have been canceled over the last several months due to the unrest in Ferguson," said Fletcher.
