Michael Flynn's guilty plea in the Russia investigation is an indication of things to come, Freedom Watch founder Larry Klayman told Newsmax TV on Friday.
"Anybody with any degree of criminal defense experience, particularly in Washington, D.C., knows that you don't plead Gen. Flynn out for one count of perjuring yourself to the FBI," Klayman, a former federal prosecutor, told "Newsmax Now" host Bill Tucker.

"The fact that it's so light, extremely light, means that he got something in exchange.
"There have been so many leaks and so many threats against Flynn and his family and his son and everybody else that the guy may bend," he continued.
"He may very well roll over to what [special counsel Robert] Mueller wants — and he obviously has got something.
"This is something that may lead to other things," Klayman told Tucker. "And people who are in this kind of a position, like Gen. Flynn, may do things that he otherwise might not want to do."
Klayman's advice to President Donald Trump?
"They need hard-hitting criminal defense counsel outside of Washington," he said. "Now is the time to go on the offense, not keep taking punches."
