The son of former President Ronald Reagan told Newsmax TV that North Korea will be wiped off the map if tries to flex its military might because a famed American battleship bearing his father's name is ready to act.
"I'm not worried about the risk in North Korea because you got the USS Ronald Reagan sitting in Tokyo, Japan armed with nuclear weapons," Michael Reagan told host Bill Tucker on Tuesday's "America Talks Live."
"You've got another aircraft carrier in the South China Sea armed with nuclear weapons.
"I will tell you, if North Korea does anything to help set the balance of power in that area of the world, they will disappear in a matter of minutes."

The USS Ronald Reagan is one of the world's most powerful Navy battleships. The 101,400-ton boat, which is 1,092-feet long, was the first nuclear-powered warship of any kind to be named in honor of a living former president.
North Korea leader Kim Jong Un has been huffing and puffing about the possibility of launching a nuclear attack – ongoing boasts bolstered by his continuing missile tests around the Korean peninsula.
The United States and China have been working together in a bid to end Kim's aggressions.
Reagan, a Newsmax contributor, is the author of "Lessons My Father Taught Me: The Strength, Integrity, and Faith of Ronald Reagan," written with Jim Denney and published by Humanix Books, a division of Newsmax Media.
