Dem Adviser, GOP Press Secretary Optimistic on Midterms

Kirsten Kukowski, national press secretary for the Republican National Committee, told Newsmax TV's "America's Forum" Friday on Newsmax TV that she was optimistic about the chances for GOP candidates heading into the fall midterms.

And, John Orton, senior Adviser for Progressives United, responded he was also optimistic that Democrats would prevail in the 2014 elections.

Kukowski and Orton also debated campaign ads by each party for the fall elections.

Kukowski said Democrats were "grasping at straws" in their criticism of a Republican campaign ad for Wisconsin Republican Gov. Scott Walker that was based on reality show "Say Yes to the Dress," while Orton claimed the ad showed the GOP was "stuck in 1962 reality."
