Former Atlanta Braves star pitcher John Rocker has revealed he’s returning to baseball.

Rocker, author of the book "Scars and Strikes," said he plans to manage a USO baseball team.

Story continues below video.

“I ran into [former Detroit Tigers pitching legend] Denny McLain, famous for being the last man to spin over 30 wins in a single season . . . about two months ago,” Rocker told former Congressman Allen West, guest host of “The Steve Malzberg Show” on Newsmax TV.

“Denny has, really by himself, put together a USO baseball team and wants me to manage it. It's of current active enlisted players that travel around and play minor league teams, play college teams, things like that; about 120-game schedule.

“He wants me to manage the Southeastern portion of that schedule next year. So that will be my effort of throwing my hat back in the baseball ring.”
