Donald Trump's strong victory Tuesday in New York proved that "the Trump campaign is back on track," political consultant Roger Stone told
Newsmax TV.
"This was a sweeping victory," he told host J.D. Hayworth on "America Votes: 2016" in an interview. "That it is a demonstration of the new team running the Trump campaign, bringing a greater level of sophistication and experience.
"Donald and his family worked very hard for this," Stone added. "He campaigned through upstate in a very effective free media campaign.
"I'm prepared to go so far as to predict that he'll hit the magic number by the first ballot – 1,237 votes."
