Attorney Sam Nunberg told Newsmax TV on Tuesday he wished President-elect Donald Trump could reverse the commutation of Chelsea Manning's 35-year prison sentence by President Barack Obama.
"With the Obama administration, with this pardon with Obama, here he is talking about out how the Russians — his argument is that they got Donald Trump elected because they leaked out hacked Clinton emails," the former Trump adviser told "Newsmax Prime" host J.D. Hayworth.
"Now, he's put these humungous sanctions on the Russians, but he's going to commute" Manning.

"Chelsea Manning is responsible for American soldiers' deaths by what she leaked to WikiLeaks — and that's a fact," Nunberg added. "She leaked these videos of Iraqis being killed and that lead to multiple riots and a stronger insurgency.
"I don't understand this.
"I wish there was a way that incoming President Trump could reverse it," he said. "Unfortunately, he can't.
"At least the good news is that Obama did not pardon [Edward] Snowden, because I assure you he probably would have, should Snowden been in American hands."
