Tancredo: Trump-Netanyahu Meeting 'Nothing But Positive'

President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have a bond that is "diametrically opposed to the relationship that existed in the last administration," former Rep. Tom Tancredo told Newsmax TV on Wednesday.

"It can be nothing but positive," Tancredo, a Republican who served Colorado from 1999 to 2009, told "Newsmax Prime" host J.D. Hayworth.

"It also tells the Arab world, in particular, that a new sheriff is in town, just in case they didn't recognize it, and that from this point on they cannot count on a sympathetic ear in the White House, which they could do in the past.

"If nothing else comes from that meeting, I think it's a win-win for the United States and for Israel."
