According to renowned neurosurgeon and health advocate Russell Blaylock, M.D., brain diseases now appear earlier in life, more frequently, and to a much more severe degree.
He’s well acquainted with the subject. After watching both his parents die from horrific neurodegenerative disease, Dr. Blaylock spent the remainder of his medical career studying brain conditions such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
And while some risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease can’t be changed (such as your age and sex), Dr. Blaylock has discovered numerous risk factors you can easily modify — as long as you know about them.
One simple change to lower your risk for Alzheimer’s and dementia is as simple as ditching the diet soda you drink:
- Diet cola beverages
- Diet root beer beverages
- Diet lemon lime beverages
These diet drinks usually include the artificial sweetener and food additive aspartame, which contains what Dr. Blaylock refers to as a powerful “excitotoxin.” Excitotoxins are substances added to certain foods and beverages that can literally stimulate nerve cells to death, causing gradual damage to your brain.
Dr. Blaylock is considered the foremost authority on the subject of excitotoxins such as aspartame and monosodium glutamate (MSG). He warns that they not only contribute to the escalation of neurodegenerative disease such as Alzheimer’s, but also to diverse chronic illness, including learning disorders, psychiatric conditions, even cancer.
But you don’t need to just take Dr. Blaylock’s word on the risks of diet soda. Research presented at a recent conference of the American Stroke Association indicates that drinking diet soda daily is linked to a significantly higher risk of vascular events that correlate with vascular dementia.
And other new research published in the journal
Natural Chemical Biology has found that phenylalanine, an amino acid found in aspartame, can form the toxic amyloid fibrils that are the hallmark of brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
So next time you shop, beware of all foods and beverages with the phrase ‘contains a source of phenylalanine’ on their packaging. You could help save your brain.
And speaking of brains, Alzheimer’s disease is now the 6
th leading cause of death in America. Because of this epidemic of brain degenerative disease, a
FREE video documentary has recently been releasedshowcasing more of Dr. Russell Blaylock’s startling findings.
In this video, you will discover:
- 3 warning signs you or a loved one could already suffer from early stage Alzheimer’s . . .
- Simple strategies to prevent, treat, and even help reverse Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, memory loss, dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders . . .
- The vaccination connection to Alzheimer’s: real or imagined?
- How you can avoid or deactivate common triggers that cause brain inflammation . . .
- Items in your own kitchen pantry that have been linked to Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s . . .
- How a certain level of exercise can actually make your brain vulnerable to these types of disorders . . .
- And much, much more . . .
While over 5 million Americans already suffer from Alzheimer’s disease today, Dr. Blaylock offers some positive news.
Maladies such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s don’t have to afflict you or your loved ones as you grow older. And even if you already show symptoms of one of these dreaded diseases, you can use Dr. Blaylock’s strategies to help repair the damage — but only if you get started right away.
