Hurricane Helene Victims Fighting Weather; Seeking Answers

It's cold this winter in Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia, with record-low temperatures and warnings of unusual winter storms coming about four months since Hurricane Helene roared through.

And while the cold winds are blowing, there are still people wondering how they're supposed to stay warm when their power still isn't back on and their homes remain damaged months after Helene, followed two weeks by Hurricane Milton, roared through this past fall.

There are a lot of people like the Turners who are looking for answers in the hurricane-hit states, and with the southern part of the United States resembling the north this January, they're scared, cold, and wondering if they've been forgotten.
