Israeli Generals: Our F-35s Are Flying Freely 'All Over the Middle East'

Israel’s decision earlier this year not to use its American-made F-35 jets to strike Iranian targets in Syria triggered speculation over why the country’s military had kept its newly obtained high-tech aircraft in its hangars.

DefenseNews.com remarked: “Perhaps these costly stealth fighters are too precious to use. Or perhaps the Israeli Air Force is not sufficiently confident in the aircraft or its pilots’ proficiency in operating the fifth-generation fighter.”
