Is 'Two-State Solution' to Israeli-Palestinian Issue Possible?

President Joe Biden, and several other leading U.S. politicians on both sides of the aisle, have for decades cited a “two-state solution” as the ideal resolution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict — but while the concept may once have been a worthy goal toward which to strive, is the creation of side-by-side, independent Israeli and Palestinian states now an entirely unrealistic aim?

During recent remarks applauding a deal in which hostages held by terror group Hamas were exchanged for Palestinian prisoners incarcerated by Israel, Biden renewed his push for the establishment of a separate Palestinian state.
