A cutting-edge “Newsmax In-Depth” video report hosted by John Bachman, “Accident or Arson?: The Fire at Notre Dame” poses serious, as-yet-unanswered questions about the real cause of the conflagration that came perilously close to utterly destroying the iconic, 850-year-old Paris cathedral.

Authorities still have been unable to establish the cause of the inferno. Speculation has ranged from an electrical short in construction equipment being used to renovate the revered Catholic cathedral, to discarded cigarette butts from workers who disobeyed orders not to smoke on the job. Several cigarette butts reportedly were found amidst the ashes.
