More Evidence Shows China Massively Hoarded PPE While It Downplayed Virus

Chinese officials deny trying to corner the global market on personal protective equipment (PPE) at the same time they were concealing the seriousness of the coronavirus from the rest of the world — but their own customs documentation tells a very different story.

Top U.S. medical-gear manufacturers based in China, including 3M and Honeywell, have told the Trump administration that China blocked their ability to export personal protective gear back to the United States, including N95 masks, gloves, booties, and other equipment.
