Former federal prosecutor and GOP Rep. Bob Barr of Georgia, a key member of the House team that impeached former President Clinton in 1998, tells Newsmax that Democrats’ impeachment case against President Trump is so fatally flawed any judge would toss it out of a criminal court.

Barr spent eight years as a CIA analyst early in his career. After perusing the whistle-blower complaint that alleges a quid pro quo between the Trump and the president of Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden, Barr concludes: “What I saw in that document as soon as I read it, this was written with a sole purpose in mind of undermining the legitimacy of this president.”
