Donald Trump's support among millennials jumped 17 points in two months, powering his surge to a virtual tie with Hillary Clinton in national polling, an
ABC News poll shows.
Clinton's support from millennials fell 19 points in the same period, since March, making it a 36-point swing for Trump.
It's an important demographic in the presidential election; though Clinton still leads Trump in the category, Mitt Romney lost the 18 to 29 vote by more than 20 points to Barack Obama in 2012. If Trump were to maintain this level of support from millennials, it would ensure a Republican landslide in November,

According to the ABC News poll, Clinton is losing 20 percent of Bernie Sanders' supporters — who skew young — to Trump.
Whether Clinton get those supporters back once she locks up the nomination and Sanders throws his endorsement of her and the Democratic Party remains to be seen.
But in just a few weeks, Red Alert Politics reported, Trump has transformed an 80 percent disapproval rating among millennials to 42 percent support.
