As accusations mount against Alabama Senate candidate from women who say he either assaulted them or asked them on dates when they were teenagers and he was in his early 30s, Moore's campaign released statements from 12 women who defended the GOP nominee.
They range from his sister-in-law to his former receptionist to a women he once dated to women he knew in grade school.
Jennie Klingenbeck said she dated Moore briefly when she was in her 20s.
"While I was around Roy, either just the two of us or with other people, he was always a true gentleman treating me with respect and courtesy," she said. "I can honestly say that I never have seen or heard any inappropriate remarks or behaviors while he was around me. I believe that Roy lives by his Christian beliefs and is a good man."
Jaime Moses said she worked at a restaurant called Uncle Sam's BBQ where she waited on Moore and his family. One of Moore's accusers said he flirted with her when she worked at The Olde Hickory House and tried to force her into sexual activity when he offered her a ride home, but Moses said she saw no such behavior.
"Mr. Moore and his wife were nothing but friendly and respectful," she said. "The children were the same, which is a sign of great parenting. Not once did he make me feel uncomfortable."
Sharon Lamkin, who said she has known Moore since elementary school, described him as "a gentle, kind boy and grew into an even more admirable man. He was my softball coach in my high school days and was always such a kind person, never a mean or hateful word to any of us."
Kandi Kisor Smith, the sister of Moore's wife, Kayla, said she met Moore in 1984 when he met her sister at church and began dating her.
"He has always showed honor and dignity," she said. "I truly can't even begin to grasp that people would question his character. He has lived by what he preached since the day I met him."
Marianne Rhodes, who was Moore's receptionist during his first stint as Alabama Chief Justice from 2000 to 2003 described Moore as "always up and above board. If any of these people who are slandering the good name of Roy Moore had ever worked with Judge they would know what a fine person he is."
Elaine Conner Watson said she worked in an adjoining office to Moore's when she was 16, the age many of the women said they were when Moore made them uncomfortable or attacked them.
"Never did he in any way make me feel uncomfortable, flirt, or make advances toward me," Watson said. "We are still friends to this day, and I would put my life in his hands if need be."
Amanda Pearce said she she has known Moore for more than 30 years and has known his family and lived near him.
"We have attended the same church for over 20 years, and I have always had the utmost respect for the life he leads and the principles he stands for," Pearce said.
Doris Mason is married to Moore's first cousin, and said he has always been a "true gentleman" to her and her daughters.
"It is my belief that the accusations against Roy are completely false!" she said. " Do I believe that Roy is perfect? Certainly not. No human is. What I do know is that he is a man that I trust and offer my utmost respect to because he has never been anything but respectful toward me and my family!"
Brenda Parrish called Moore "a wonderful spiritual leader to his family and has exceptional character."
Angie Johnson also said she worked in a fast food restaurant during the time his accusers say he acted inappropriately.
"Again . . . no behaviour exhibited other than respect and mannerful . . . during that time Roy had written and recorded a 45 record which he brought over and gifted to my mother," she said. "It is a sad day when someone can take a person's character and attempt to discredit them by making accusations that cannot be proven."
Linda Whitt said "it saddens me that there are those who seek to tarnish the reputation of a good man."
Jennifer Price said she, too, would trust Moore with her life.
"He's a wonderful husband, father and granddaddy and loves his family dearly," she said.
