President Donald Trump finds himself with the lowest approval rating of his first six months in office in a new CNN poll.

Key results from the survey:

  • 38 percent of Americans approve of the job Trump is doing, while 56 percent disapprove. Those figures were at 44 percent and 53 percent in February.
  • 7 percent of Democrats approve of the job Trump is doing, compared to 83 percent of Republicans polled.
  • 24 percent of Americans feel strongly positive about the job Trump is doing.
  • Strong approval of Trump's job performance among Republicans has fallen from 73 percent in February to 59 percent.
  • 24 percent said they trust all or most of what the White House says.
  • 72 percent said Trump's use of Twitter sends the wrong message to other world leaders.

Monday was Trump's 200th day in office. The administration has touted the successes of his administration, such as clamping down on immigration (legal and illegal) and job growth, while others have pointed out he has lagged behind other presidents in terms of nominating people to fill various jobs across the government.
