Arnold Schwarzenegger has turned Terminator on President Donald Trump.

The Hollywood action star and former California governor told Men's Journal he wanted to meet with Trump and "smash his face into the table," after the commander in chief insulted him over his poor ratings as host of "The Celebrity Apprentice."

Schwarzenegger boiled over last month after Trump tauntingly tweeted about "The Terminator" star:

And he further tormented the movie muscleman last week by tweeting:

Schwarzenegger told Men's Journal he decided to sit on Trump's teasing for "an hour" and then came up with another idea.

"I called my assistant and said, 'I think what we really should do is request a meeting and go back to New York . . . And then we just smash his face into the table," Schwarzenegger said.

"And then I think we can't do that, either. I think I have to be above all of that and put him on the spot."

A miffed Schwarzenegger first tweeted back:

And last week, he linked to a newspaper story about releasing his tax returns as governor, a nose thumb at Trump, who has refused to release his.

Schwarzenegger has criticized Trump for signing an executive order banning travelers from seven predominantly Muslim countries.

"It's crazy. It makes us look stupid," he told Extra TV.

Schwarzenegger, a two-term governor, is best known for his smash-hit "Terminator" movies, in which he plays an evil cyborg killer who utters the now-famous catchphrases, "I'll be back!" and "Get out!"

Last month, he took over the rebooted version of "The Celebrity Apprentice" after Trump's successful reign as host.
