A woman who used to work for Donald Trump said Monday she's not buying into what he's promised on the campaign trail.
"I couldn't imagine him ever doing a job where he would be beholden not to one person but 300 million," Barbara Res told the New York Times,
according to The Hill. "I think he thinks he's going to be king."
Res was featured in the Times' Sunday story that painted Trump as a man who is demeaning toward women. Among her roles in Trump's company was to oversee the construction of Trump Tower in New York City.
"I don't see him getting away with all these things that he says he's going to do," said Res, who supports Democrat Hillary Clinton for president. "This is not a monarchy; it's a democracy.
"I don't think he has the temperament necessarily for this kind of work. He's not necessarily, in my mind, presidential material."
Trump blasted the Times piece, as did
one of the women quoted in the story.
Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee for president.
