Bharara, Yates Hammer Trump Over Sessions Interview

Two former federal prosecutors took to Twitter to hammer President Donald Trump over his interview with The New York Times criticizing his own Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and former federal prosecutor Preet Bharara criticized Trump for bashing Sessions' decision to recuse himself from the Russia investigation.

Bharara tweeted more, including Thursday, suggesting that Trump was in essence asking for Sessions' resignation.

Sessions on Thursday said he would remain as attorney general despite Trump's criticisms he detailed in The Times.
