Hillary Clinton's campaign Tuesday tapped former President Bill Clinton in a fund-raising email asking potential contributors to "picture Donald Trump in a crisis."
"Times like these test a president — and a presidential candidate," the two-term Democratic president said in the email.
"For the past month, we've seen how Hillary responds when she's tested: with resolve, compassion, and a deep commitment to our values.
"We've also gotten a taste of how the other side might act in the face of a crisis.
"There's no comparison," Bill Clinton said. "Hillary has shown what leadership looks like."
The solicitation then asks for those who "agree" to "do something before the end of the month to show that you're with her."
A contribution of at least $3 "or more" will help the campaign and the Democratic Party "hit their goal before their big end-of-quarter deadline on June 30th," Clinton said.
The email also includes "quick donate" check-offs of $10, $25, $50 and $100 — plus one for "another amount."
