Fox News' Bill O'Reilly has derided Hillary Clinton's debate-night attack of Donald Trump over his Iraq War position, suggesting "no one cares" what the GOP nominee thought about the conflict – and asserting he knows "firsthand… Trump didn't like that war."

In an interview with pollster and political consultant Frank Lutz on "The O'Reilly Factor," the host said voters aren't interested in what candidates thought in the past.

"Is it possible that no one cares about whether Donald Trump thought the Iraq war run-up––I don’t care," O'Reilly said. "I mean, I don't know why anybody would care at this juncture in history. So what?"

Luntz agreed, adding "because we want to know what they're going to do in the future."

"I know Trump," O'Reilly added. "Trump didn't like that war. He didn't like it. And so I can tell you, that's firsthand experience."

A video clip of the exchange was posted by Mediaite.
