Former President George W. Bush and Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, won’t support President Donald Trump’s reelection,  The New York Times reported Sunday.

According to the Times, other prominent GOP officials are considering a vote for Joe Biden — including Cindy McCain, the widow of Sen. John McCain of Arizona, who nevertheless isn't sure how public to be about it.

None of them voted for Trump in 2016, the Times noted.

Former Republican leaders like former Speakers Paul Ryan and John Boehner won’t say how they’ll vote, the Times reported. Retired military leaders, who have guarded their private political views, including former Defense Secretary James Mattis, however, are increasingly voicing their unease about Trump.

Biden intends to roll out his “Republicans for Biden” coalition later in the campaign, after fully consolidating his own party, the Times reported, citing unnamed sources.
