Representatives for Charles Koch, a wealthy Republican donor, will reportedly meet with Donald Trump's aides as the real estate mogul tries to earn the billionaire's support.

According to USA Today, the Trump camp requested the meeting. The gathering has not been made public, nor has it been scheduled.

"We are happy to talk to anybody and hope they understand where we're coming from, and they will have more constructive positions than they've had," Koch told USA Today.

Koch was asked about Trump's verbal assault on a Mexican-American judge presiding over a lawsuit in which Trump is the plaintiff. Trump said U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel has been unfair to Trump in the case and, because of Trump's feelings on Mexican immigration and building a wall, he should be removed.

"It's either racist or it's stereotyping," Koch told USA Today. "It's unacceptable, and it's taking the country in the wrong direction."

Koch added, "I don't know the answer to that" when asked if Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, is fit to serve in the White House.

Trump largely financed his own primary campaign but has struck an agreement with the Republican National Committee to raise money for the general election campaign. He will likely go against Democrat Hillary Clinton on the November ballot.

Koch told ABC News in April he and his brother David have declined to join the "Never Trump" movement despite calls for them to help prevent Trump from winning the Republican nomination. Charles Koch said at the time he and his brother had no plans to get involved with the nomination process.

"We haven't put a penny in any of these campaigns, pro or con," Koch said. "That's not what we do. What we're trying to do is build alliances to make the country better."
