New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie thinks Sen. Lindsey Graham's credibility is gone because of his flip-flopping over who he has supported in the race for president.

Speaking to reporters outside of a New Jersey primary polling place Tuesday morning, Christie called out the South Carolina senator's endorsements.

"Lindsey Graham has changed his mind about who he is endorsing and not endorsing so many different times it's hard for me to keep track," said Christie, who was sporting an "I voted" sticker on his lapel. "I think Sen. Graham has lost any credibility he may have had at any time to give an opinion on this.

"The fact is, Sen. Graham was for himself. It's hard for me to keep track. Then he was for Jeb [Bush], think I think he was for Marco [Rubio], then I think he was for Ted [Cruz] after he told everybody Ted could be murdered on the floor of the Senate and he wouldn't get one vote for conviction. Lindsey's lost any credibility he's had and he should worry about going back to South Carolina and trying to rebuild his base in South Carolina or he won't be in the United States Senate for much longer."

Through a spokesman, Graham told Newsmax, "I like Chris Christie. He's been great on national security. I think he's probably auditioning to be Trump’s vice president."

Christie suspended his own presidential campaign in February after a poor showing in some of the early Republican primaries. He has since aligned himself with Donald Trump, the party's presumptive nominee.

During the impromptu press conference, Christie was critical of supporters of Democrats Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton for causing disruptions and violent outbursts at Trump's rallies.

"I think it's awful that Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton have sent their supporters there in order to commit violent acts, and it's a terrible thing, and I think that both Sen. Sanders and Secretary Clinton this week denounced the people finally who are supporters of theirs who are going to Donald's rallies only to create violence," Christie said.

"These are people who say that they're open and tolerant and understanding of others' views, yet they stand outside and commit violent protests. Everybody is allowed to protest. You can peacefully protest wherever you want. But they don't do that. They commit violent acts and that's wrong. That's wrong for anybody to do."
