President Donald Trump unleashed a tweetstorm Monday afternoon, dismissing the testimonies of two former Obama administration officials on Capitol Hill – and declaring "the Russia-Trump collusion story is a total hoax."
Former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper both testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee about Russia's attempts to interfere in the United States presidential election.
Trump mocked Yates' testimony as "old news."
And he chided Clapper's statement there's "no evidence" of collusion between Trump's presidential campaign and Russia.
The president wrapped up his Twitter tirade by pointing out the "fake news" had missed the biggest story of the pair's testimonies.
