An anti-Donald Trump conservative group is reportedly considering launching a third-party candidate to run against the presumptive GOP presidential candidate.

Conservatives Against Trump, a group of activists including Erick Erickson, Bill Wichterman and Bob Fischer, will be on a conference call Thursday night to discuss next steps in their effort to stop the billionaire businessman, including a third-party option, Politico reports.

About two dozen conservatives from across the country are expected to participate, according to Politico.

"All options are on the table," one unnamed source tells the news outlet.

The news comes the same day Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse urged a third-party candidate to emerge in the turbulent presidential race.
