Donald Trump slammed Hillary Clinton on Thursday for an "outright corrupt" scheme revealed in a leaked email, showing a longtime aide to Bill Clinton brought in $50 million to the former president in consulting jobs and paid speeches from donors to the Clinton Foundation.
"If the Clintons were willing to play this fast and loose with their enterprise when they weren't in the White House, just imagine what they'll do given the chance to once again control the Oval Office," Trump told a rally at the Champion Center Expo Center in Springfield, Ohio.
He was referring to a November 2011 email WikiLeaks released Thursday from longtime Bill Clinton aide Doug Band that was hacked from Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta's private emails.
Band described how he brought in $50 million in personal work for Bill Clinton from foundation contributors — and lining up as much as $66 million more.
"We have, in effect, served as agents, lawyers, managers and implementers," Band wrote in the email, while acknowledging the "unorthodox nature" of the arrangement.
"Mr. Band all it had arranged," Trump told the rally. "Unorthodox? The rest of us call it outright corrupt.
"I think we've had enough of the Clintons, in all fairness," he said. "Had enough."
