After another big night for former Vice President Joe Biden, the delegate count is heavily in Biden's favor over Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.

The AP delegate estimates have given Biden over 800 compared to a sliding Sanders at just over 600, with the late results from Super Tuesday II to come. Biden's strong early numbers had him in a near dead heat in Washington state with over 60% of the vote in.

A total of 1,991 total delegates clinches the Democratic presidential primary nomination.

Biden's victory in Michigan and strong support from the African-American vote has reduced Sanders' path to the nomination.

Sanders did not speak Tuesday night, potentially a sign the Democratic socialist is taking his time to weigh his campaign against the surging Biden.

Biden is polling strong in the upcoming state primaries next Tuesday, including Arizona, Florida, and Ohio.

If Sanders does not officially concede, it looks as if a brokered Democratic National Convention might be the only reason for the also-ran to continue to compete in the remaining states. To achieve that, Sanders must keep Biden from reaching 1,991 total delegates.

As of now, there is a still a debate Sunday night in Arizona planned.
