Former Vice President Joe Biden came in for some social media ribbing when he wound up a long explanation of why he supported healthcare for illegal immigrants with a mildly sheepish, "Time’s up."
Comedian Samantha Bee chided:
"tbh, kudos to Biden, first time we've seen a white guy go 'oh, my time's up, sorry.'"
The awkward moment came on the second night of debates Thursday among Democratic presidential hopefuls, when Biden was laying out his rationale, and then suddenly wondered if his alloted time was up.
The NBC News moderators assured him it was, in fact, time for a break.
