Donald Trump will be spending the bulk of his time and money in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania — the three must-win states he needs to get to White House, the New York Times reports.

"Does Trump have to run the table of the top three targets? Absolutely," John Brabender, a Republican strategist, tells the Times. "The fact that we have to worry about winning Pennsylvania to win the presidency tells you it’s a difficult task."

Each state is comprised of large cities, rural areas and former industrial centers where Trump's campaign has resonated, the Times reports, adding unemployment in each state hovers near or lower the national average of 4.9 percent.

The pro-Trump super PAC, Rebuilding America Now, has reserved airtime only in Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania. The pro-Hillary Clinton Priorities USA Action also is advertising there — and in half a dozen more, the Times reports.

According to the Times, vice presidential nominee, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, intends to spend most of his time, as well, in the Rust Belt, including Ohio and Pennsylvania, and is also expected to appeal to voters in conservative states, like those in Georgia and Arizona, where Clinton may be competitive.

The former radio host also will hit conservative talk shows, the Times reports.
