President Donald Trump said Friday he would not sign a "more moderate" Immigration bill in Congress.
Anchor Steve Doocy referred to the "Goodlatte bill and another more moderate one," and Trump said he "certainly wouldn’t sign the more moderate one," Trump said.
"I’m looking at both of them," Trump said, referring to the two bills that House Republicans agreed to bring to the floor next week, The Hill reported.
Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va. sponsors one of the bills, which has drawn fire from immigrant rights activists, HuffPost reported.
On Thursday, House Republicans unveiled a "discussion draft" of another immigration bill that includes a path to citizenship for young immigrants, $25 billion in border security including advance funds for a wall, and cuts to family-based visas.
"I need a bill that has tremendous border security. I have to have that," the president said.
"We have to have the wall… we have the wall or there’s no bill," Trump said in the "Fox & Friends" interview.
