President Donald Trump admitted Monday he is not worried about the recent indictments that were handed down to his former campaign chairman and two others.

"I'm not under investigation, as you know," Trump told The New York Times.

Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort was indicted on federal charges Monday, as was Manafort's business associate Rick Gates. In early October, former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos was indicted for lying to the FBI about contacts he had with Russians.

"And even if you look at that, there's not even a mention of Trump in there," Trump told the Times, referencing court documents that outlined the FBI cases against the trio.

"It has nothing to do with us," Trump said. "I'm actually not angry at anybody."

The charges are part of the FBI's Russia investigation, spearheaded by special counsel Robert Mueller.
