Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will speak at the National Rifle Association's annual conference next month.

The NRA confirmed Trump's presence at the NRA-ILA Leadership Forum Tuesday on Twitter. The conference is scheduled for May 19-22 in Louisville, Ky. The Leadership Forum will take place on May 20.

Several other speakers are confirmed for the event, a list that includes Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke, Jr., Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, and House Speaker Paul Ryan were also invited but have not yet confirmed.

The NRA-ILA is the gun group's legislative arm.

Trump said in an interview last summer that he is a "Life Member of the NRA" and has a gun permit. In January, he blasted President Barack Obama's plans for new gun regulations.
